Social Media Command Center

Eagle PR provides students with the space and technology to enhance their PR practices.

OC's Department of Communication opened a Social Media Command Center this year; it was made possible by generous donations to OC. These funds went to remodel and update the space for Eagle PR and to install social media analytics tracking screens. The Social Media Command Center features social media analytics programs to analyze trends and activities on a number of channels, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Social media professional Chris Strub recently visited OC, and he led an analytics seminar using Twitonomy in the new space. He was especially impressed with the large touchscreen.
