OC’S Graduate School of Theology to launch online chapels on YouTube this fall
The 5-7 minute long videos will start this fall and focus on the theme of prayer.
Oklahoma Christian University’s Graduate School of Theology has created a YouTube channel where they will soon be hosting virtual chapels. While they are still developing the videos and the posting schedule, GST hopes the new chapel will launch within the first two weeks of September. The main audiences are students in the division, GST alumni, faculty, staff and others connected to and interested in the GST.
Each video will be 5-7 minutes long and will follow this semester’s theme: prayer. Josh Bailey, program director for GST, will manage the chapel. He says the theme is an area of interest for GST students and the videos will appeal to many students.
“We will have a wide variety of contributors,” Bailey said. “This will include members of the Board of Trustees, the Spiritual Life Office, alumni and the GST faculty. Our goal is to post weekly content during the regular fall and spring semesters, with a few bonus postings as well. Our hope and prayer is that it will be a blessing to those who watch.”
