Melinda Nix works as an adjunct French professor at Oklahoma Christian University, and she recently started a business called “Oui and Sí” with her daughter, Susanne Huffman. Oui and Sí aims to provide French and Spanish activity boxes for children to learn a new language early on as well as provide digital learning courses and resources for adults.

Gail Nash, an OC English professor and chair of the Division of Language, Literature, and Communication, acknowledged the quality of the OC faculty and their accomplishments.

“I had no idea she and her daughter had started this business,” Nash said. “When I read a recent news article about her, I was reminded what quality adjuncts we are blessed with.”

Oui and Sí aims to provide activity boxes for children to learn French or Spanish in a simple and interactive way. To learn more about Nix’s business, read the recent story by Edmond Outlook magazine or the Oui and Sí website.
