Assistant Professor of Communication and Director of International Programs John Osborne participated in the Best Practices in Christian Higher Education Conference research cohort

OC’s faculty are doing great work! Assistant Professor of Communication and Director of International Programs John Osborne was selected to participate in the Best Practices in Christian Higher Education Conference research cohort! This was made possible through a Council of Christian Colleges and Universities and Abilene Christian University collaboration in 2022. He participated with 14 other faculty identified as "High Impact Scholars" in global education. With research gathered from four CCCU campuses (including OC), Osborne’s team presented at a conference last fall and had a journal article published by ACU Press. OC is proud of you!

OC alumna Dawn Shelton named to the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame

Congratulations to OC alumna Dawn Shelton for being named to the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame! After years of experience in journalism and reporting, Dawn is nationally recognized for her dedication to community journalism.
