OC Humanities and Bible classes offered for winter 2021-2022
The courses are popular among students looking to quickly complete degrees or catch up after changing majors.
Oklahoma Christian University’s three-week Wintersession course sign-ups are available on MyOC. Each credit is $430, which is 40% less expensive than a regular semester of classes; a second course reduces the cost by another 12%.
There are many Humanities and Bible courses available, including Bible, History, English, Psychology and Political Science.
Nathan Shank, assistant professor of English and director of composition and rhetoric at OC, expressed the benefits of taking a Wintersession course.
“Taking a Wintersession course is a great way to get in extra hours that you might need in your schedule,” Shank said. “It's a great cushion for students who may have taken too many hours in the fall and had to drop a course. The courses are short and compact, so it can be an intense way to master that course's material.
