Over the past six months, Oklahoma Christian University’s Assistant Professor of Art and Design Amy Beauchamp has helped her students and the university experience continued success. In July, she travelled to Europe to oversee the completion of the Rix Practice Room music facilities in OC’s Vienna-based Das Millicanhaus.

OC’s Professor of Music Heath Jones praised Beauchamp for her work.

“The transformation is amazing,” he said. “Thank you!”

In addition, Beauchamp, who leads the Interior Architecture Program, takes great pride in helping her graduating seniors land full-time jobs with  design companies in Oklahoma one to two months before graduation.

“Eight of nine juniors (now seniors) completed a variety of design internships this summer, making wonderful networking connections for job opportunities post-graduation,” she said.

Finally, Beauchamp’s program was also named a top-20 interior design program in the nation earlier this year by intelligent.com.

“When the village works together -- and believe me, we have a great village -- their work speaks for itself,” Beauchamp said at the time. “It has for years, which is evident by all of the wonderful positions and companies our graduates have worked with.”
