OC to host free Symphonic Band and Chamber Orchestra concert Oct. 23

Each fall, the musicians in Oklahoma Christian University’s Symphonic Band and Chamber Orchestra regularly practice some of the most challenging musical compositions, making for an incredibly impressive performance that is free to the community. This year’s show will be Oct. 23 from 1-4 p.m. in Judd Theater, and the theme of the music is “Royalty, Rulers and Republics.” 

The performance will be directed by OC Music alumna and local teacher Gena Alexander and OC Associate Professor of Music and Director of Bands George Schrader. 

The campus and local community are invited to Judd Theater Sunday to see the talent of the Symphonic Band and the Chamber Orchestra!
