OC Music Program plans various performances for the fall semester
The Oklahoma Christian University Music Program showcases the impressive talents of its students at annual concerts throughout the year. This fall, the program will host the Grand Concert, Oklahoma Community Orchestra Concert, Fall Choral Concert, Symphonic Band and Chamber Orchestra Concert and the Jazz Band and Steel Drums Concert. All events are free to the campus and community. The fall concerts range from late September to late October. This allows for enough time for the musicians to hit full swing when students and faculty come back from fall break.
In past years, the Music Program has hosted successful musicals such as “Willy Wonka,” “Oklahoma” and “The Little Mermaid.” This year for the 2022 homecoming musical, OC’s talented students will perform Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon.”
The Music Program has created ample opportunities for students to be able to share and show off their musical talents and passions in many different ways. Music faculty, staff and students hope to see the community on many of the days listed below.
Fall Grand Concert: Sunday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. in Baugh Auditorium
Oklahoma Community Orchestra Concert: Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in Baugh Auditorium
Fall Choral Concert: Sunday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. in McIntosh Conversatory

The OC Music Program continues to be a place where students can develop their talents, gain confidence and experience and develop skills that will help them grow in their music careers.
