OC Music hosts Fall Chorale Concert Oct. 8
The Chorale and Chamber choirs performed in Adams Recital Hall at 2 p.m.
Oklahoma Christian University hosted the Fall Chorale Concert on Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. The concert was in Adams Recital Hall and was free for all attendees. This is a highly anticipated event each year, and it is an excellent opportunity for the choir to continue its concert season following the OC Music Department’s combined Grand Concert in September.
Those who attended experienced the power of music as the men of OC's chorale performed "Like a River in My Soul" by Tim Osiek, and the women of OC’s chorale presented "Music In My Mother's House" by J. David Moore. The Chamber singers captivated with their opener "Hodie Christus Natus Est" by Healy Willan.
Concert Pianist Miho Fisher shared her enthusiasm about the concert before it began.
“I can’t wait to perform the last two pieces,” Fisher said. “They require what is called a ‘piano fifth hand,’ where there will be two pianists playing at the same time.”
