Former Oklahoma Christian University Chief Communications Officer named Vice President at Nominee
Risa Forrester has now been named the Vice President at Nominee, a brand consultant organization. As the new Vice President at Nominee, she will be responsible for developing comprehensive branding and marketing strategies for clients.
Forrester worked at Oklahoma Christian University for nearly 25 years, where she obtained many roles such as Chief Enrollment Officer, Vice President of Admissions and Marketing, Director of Admissions and Chief Communications Officer. She is also the owner and founder of Risa Forrester consulting.
As the Chief Communications Officer at OC, she was responsible for overseeing and managing the admissions office as well as lead teams focused on branding, marketing, internal and external communications. Forrester went above and beyond in her recent role at OC that has led faculty and students to be thankful for her work and time serving them.
Many who knew Forrester would describe her as someone who is an intentional and remarkable leader wherever she may go. It is no surprise that this OC alumna is doing great things at Nominee as she did during her time at OC.
OC Public Relations professor Josh Watson commented on Forrester’s work.
“Risa is such an impressive OC Communication alumna who built a strong reputation as a PR pro during her time at OC and then at the Gooden Group,” Watson said. “Nominee wisely chose her as their newest vice president, and she’ll do a great job helping them continue to grow and expand their services.”
OC and the communications program are very proud of Forrester and the impactful work she has and continues to do.
