OC alumnus is promoted to vice president with Tinker Federal Credit Union

Andrew Akard, an Oklahoma Christain University Political Science alumnus, was recently promoted to vice president at Tinker Federal Credit Union. Akard manages building construction, remodeling, maintenance, janitorial services, and lawn care for TFCU’s branches and corporate offices. He previously worked in operations for property management and commercial real estate companies. 

Akard is a U.S. military veteran, serving in the Navy for eight years as an operations intelligence specialist, and he spent a year advising the Afghan National Army. He is also a member of the International Facilities Management Association and the Veterans of Foreign Affairs.
