American artist Piper Bridwell's work is defined by bold colors and layers of deep emotion. She was introduced to painting at a young age because she comes from a long history of creatives, but it wasn't until later that she discovered it to be her love.
“My work comes from deep inside as an expression of my sincere emotions of joy and gratitude,” Bridwell said on her website. “There lives inside of me an inherent desire to create. The inspiration process is what drives me.”
Her paintings have a thick, textured surface that makes viewers want to reach out and touch them. They are deceptively basic, but they exude an energy that can't help but make the spectator smile. Bridwell views her work as a direct reflection of her own feelings and happy personality, as an overflow from her heart to her hands.
Bridwell also prides herself on her work being inspired by her deep faith. She has described the raw emotions that run through her heart and soul while creating her work. To discover more about Bridwell and her outstanding work, visit her website here.
