OC’s Interior Architecture students will study in Europe next summer
Oklahoma Christian University’s Interior Architecture students will have the opportunity to study design in some of the world’s most famous cultural centers next summer. These students will travel to Italy, France and Switzerland for three weeks in May with Assistant Professor of Art and Design Amy Beauchamp.
In order to qualify for study abroad, the students must have completed Historical Interior Design 1 and 2. Those classes discuss the eras of architecture and design the students will have the opportunity to see during their travels.
During their studies, the students' class requirements will include journal entries of all their travels. This provides them the chance to document this special time they get to take part in as college students. Between now and May, the students will also hold various fundraisers on or near campus to help defray travel costs. Be on the lookout for ways to help, or reach out to Beauchamp!
