OC’s Music Program will perform “Brigadoon” for 2022 Homecoming Nov. 3-5
Annually during the homecoming festivities, Oklahoma Christian University hosts a student-performed musical. This year, the musical will be Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon” in Baugh Auditorium Nov. 3-5 at 7:30 p.m.
The lead cast this year will include senior Kelan Owen, junior Trina Kenyon, sophomore Hudson Woodard, sophomore Madeline Lewis and freshman Cayden Cole.
“Brigadoon” is a fun, family-friendly story of two American tourists, Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas, who stumble upon a mysterious little Scottish town that only wakes once every 100 years.
Owen, a senior Music Education major, will perform in one of his last musicals on campus. He is playing the role of Charlie Dalrymple, a fun and popular kid from Brigadoon.
“Brigadoon” is directed by Professor of Music Kyle Pullen, OC’s director of choral activities and the musical’s producer.
Tickets are $22 to the general public. To get tickets, follow the link here. All employees and students can receive a free ticket to the Nov. 3 performance only, but they must follow the directions given in the Student Announcements or Campus Announcements emails.
